Read the terminal
What every data-state label means
The visible contract for current, delayed, sample, closed, historical, retained, and unavailable information.
In short
A state label answers two questions before interpretation begins: which session does this value describe, and how current is the last usable observation? Missing information remains missing; an older or different subject never silently fills the gap.

The state language
- Live
- Current-session observations are arriving and the displayed time identifies their freshness.
- Delayed
- The screen keeps the last received value visible and marks that newer observations have not arrived.
- Sample data
- Synthetic demonstration material shows the product shape without claiming to describe a real session.
- Market closed
- The view belongs to the completed session and does not pose as a live market.
- Historical
- The selected stored date owns the screen. Current-session values do not substitute for fields missing on that date.
- Offline
- No usable current snapshot is available. The terminal shows an unavailable state instead of fabricated panels.

Retained values and historical gaps
A retained value is the last usable observation kept for the selected symbol. Its delayed label and displayed time are part of the information, not decoration.
A historical day can be available while one field or moment remains absent. The affected region stays empty or names the missing coverage. The rest of the stored day can remain readable.
