When the screen is delayed, empty, or unavailable
A state-first checklist for terminal availability, historical gaps, Analyst access, and account issues.
In short
The visible state usually identifies the right next check. Offline concerns current availability, delayed concerns freshness, a historical gap concerns the selected stored subject, and an access notice concerns the account or feature state.
The terminal says Offline
Offline means no usable current snapshot is available for the selected symbol. The page intentionally withholds market panels rather than presenting demonstration values as current.
The public Status page provides the broader availability view. A later refresh can restore the live screen when a usable snapshot returns.
The screen is delayed
The last received observation can remain visible with a delayed label and its own time. Interpretation should retain that age; the value is not current simply because it remains on screen.
A historical day or field is missing
A stored day can lack a complete panel or individual moment. The affected surface names the gap and does not borrow a live value or fabricate an in-between observation.
A different symbol has a different historical inventory. The selected date can therefore be available for one symbol and absent for another.
Analyst or account access is unavailable
- Analyst disabled
- The Analyst is not released yet, so it is unavailable for every membership. When it ships, the chat surface will name an unavailable state rather than fabricate an answer.
- Historical context unavailable
- The Analyst declines when the exact selected stored context is unavailable or does not match. It never substitutes the live session.
- Membership state
- The Account page shows whether sign-in, renewal, or billing management is the relevant action.
