Read the session as a sequence of state changes
A visual guide to the standing read, event timeline, evidence detail, and quiet intervals.
In short
Session Read is a deterministic summary of the current standing state and the events that changed it. It is an index into the session evidence, not a substitute for the chart and not a recommendation.
The standing read
The header summarizes the latest mechanical state, the condition that would invalidate it, and the evidence quality attached to the current read. Neutral or unavailable remains a valid result.
The state is descriptive. It does not know a user's position and does not convert a market observation into a personal action.
The event table
- Time
- Each row belongs to the market moment shown in Eastern Time.
- State change
- The event names the mechanical transition that occurred without adding directional prose.
- Evidence
- Evidence grades trace to the Ivolution research registry: validated claims passed pre-registered statistical tests on our own session data; candidate and underpowered claims are hypotheses under evaluation and are not asserted as fact.
- What would change this
- The detail view names the observable condition that would invalidate the current standing read.
Quiet intervals and detail
Long stretches without a material change collapse into a quiet interval so the timeline keeps its visual hierarchy. Expanding the interval reveals the rows it contains.
A row disclosure opens supporting context. Closing a parent interval also closes its child detail, keeping keyboard focus connected to a visible control.
Session Read in Replay
Under Replay, the read belongs to the selected stored day. Events after the selected moment do not become evidence for the earlier screen.
When the historical read is absent, the terminal says so. It does not substitute the current session's standing state.
